Stephen was born in Peterborough, and has spent most of his life in Southern Ontario, Canada. He joined the military at the age of 17, and spent nine years in the infantry. After the military, Stephen worked as a manager at a newspaper, drove transport across North America, and eventually returned to school. Since 2000, he has worked full time a computer programmer at several web development companies.
When not working, Stephen spends time with his iguanas, Darwin and Lily, works on some electronics projects, and writes.
